Which printing?

Sorry to be a dunce but how do I tell which printing I have?  I am looking at the errata and even though it says the errata are for the first and second printing and in my book it says "First Printing December 2008" the paragraphs are not the same as on the forum. I can change the whole paragraph without a problem.  I just want to know if with "First Printing December 2008" that this is in fact the first printing.
