I'm not quite convinced by the exercices 11.3 because it seems that there is no way to tell the compiler that my class conforms to NSComparisonMethods. Steve can you please confirm that there is no way to tell the compiler that a class conform to an informal protocol.

Jérôme,

Yes, there is no way to inform the compiler.  It's really just a collection of methods that are separately identified for standardization, modularity, and documentation.
