As a person who used to know C, Objective C is of great interest to me. I have Xcode and "Programming in Objective C" by S. G. Kochan. All well and good until I get a program that requires the use of scanf. In the older compilers, control simply shifted to keyboard input. I cannot figure out how to get Xcode to let me run this little program with minimal user input. Perhaps I need to learn about UI? Any help out there?

Thanks,

Dal

Well, it seems that leaving the address operator off the variable name doesn't help matters at all. Fixed.
