Hi,

In Xcode 3.x if you wanted to look up  a method in the API reference you just highlight it, right click and then select choose Find Selected Text in API Reference.  But in Xcode 4.1.1 I haven't had any luck.  Is there another way to do this?

Cheers

Hi David,

I have never used Xcode 3, however am guessing this is what you are after:

Hover over the method/class name you want (NSString for instance), press on Alt and your mouse pointer should change to a hand. Left click on the mouse and a pop up will appear, from which you can go to the Class Reference.
