I am new to this forum and to Objective C. I have an idea for a project which would entail creating a word and/or excel document as output. Does anyone have an API, Library, Class, I don't know what, that would assist in producing this document type on output? I am thinking that this might be useful for others as well. Thanks in advance.

Go to Microsoft's site for details on their file formats:  http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc313105(v=office.12).aspx.
The docx. format is an XML formatted file.  You can also find details on the format at Microsoft's website: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd910272(v=office.12).aspx.

Cheers,

Thanks for the info Steve.
Looks like it could be a challenging project just to interpret the specs!
