I'll be teaching a two-day intensive Objective-C class at the end of May in NYC.  For those who are interested, you can get the details here:

Well, we're testing the waters here in NYC first (which is close to home).  If it flies, I will try other cities.

I'm finishing the book today, so I expect to be deep into an iPhone book by then, but are you planning on an after-class happy hour for the class and nearby forum folk?

Stout on W 33rd between 6th and 7th is a nearby place that I like, but I'm not sure how busy it would be at 6:30-ish on a Friday.  That would likely be a good time (i.e. not terribly busy) on Saturday, though.

That sounds like a good idea.  The class is Saturday and Sunday.  I'll keep you posted as it gets closer to game time.

I should have looked closer at the days of the week.  I wouldn't expect it to be too busy either night at that time.  I don't see much on sports schedules that would cause a heavy crowd.

That class is probably not happening. I'll know in about a week whether I'm doing a class on the West Coast or not, and I'll keep you posted.   I'm also going to start doing Webcasts in about 2-3 weeks that will cover the book.  Follow me on Twitter or check back here for updates.

Cheers,

Steve

I'm sorry to hear that it probably won't happen.  I was really looking forward to it.   Nextime!  Smiley Wink
