Part 2?

Hi Stephen
I absolutely love the LiveLessons DVD and book combo, it's really helped me finally grasp Objective-C. I find it helps to watch the view of each chapter on the DVD before reading it in the book. If I find reading a topic particularly hard, I go back and watch the video a second time and I've not got stuck yet.

Anyway, just wondering when Part 2 of the DVD might be available to purchase?

I'm glad you're liking the bundle.  I don't have a schedule yet for when Part II will be released.  I'll ping the publisher and post here when I get a reply.

The publisher says it should be available towards the end of next month.  You may want to consider signing up for the Part II webcast series, which starts at the beginning of next month.. Anyway, that's an option if you want to learn the material sooner.

I also bought the book dvd part 1 combo. Notice your reply stated publisher would have it available Dec 2009. I am unable to find DVD part 2 would you post a link where i can purchase DVD part 2.

I think it's forthcoming, but I don't think it will be offered as an update to Part I owners at a reasonable price.  I also still don't think there will be a Part I + Part II + text bundle.   You may be better off getting the Part 2 recorded webcasts for $75.  This is the latest I have from my publisher:

There were instructions in the Part I package to register the product to be
eligible for a special discount on Part II. The list price is $149.99 but
Taub was trying to get approval to offer it something like 40% off, which
would put it somewhere around $90 I guess.
