I just learned about the Webcasts two days ago, so I missed Part I. I'm working my way thru the book, "Programming in Objective-C 2.0". Today I'm on chapter 8 'Inheritance'.

Before this I was programming using C# and Windows. The Mac, Objective-C, and the iPhone are all new for me.

I tried taking the Stanford course on iPhone programming, but I wasn't able to do the assignments. I bought four books at my local Barnes and Noble on Objective-C and programming the iPhone, but I still wasn't able to do the assignments. Finally, I bought the thick heavy book by Stephen Kochan and I have been making a lot of progress. I initially avoided the Kochan book because I travel around on a bicycle, and the other Objective-C and iPhone programming books were lighter and took up less room in my backpack.

Sorry about the added weight!   Shocked

We help build strong bodies as well as strong minds!
