I would like to program Cocoa applications. which away is more effective? Do I learn first Objectiv-C and then Cocoa or do begin I directly with Cocoa and do learn Objectiv-C automatically thereby? How is your opinion? My background: I operate professional for 20 years with procedural languages like PL/SQL and Perl.

Thanks, Uli.

It depends on what you want to program I think. The language shouldn't be that hard to pick up. Cocoa might force you to use more OOP, which could be good. I'd start with obj-c and see how far you get.
