After upgrading to Snow Leopard, I noticed that none of the examples that used the terminal app to display results worked any more. What I didn't realize is that NSLog was outputting the results to a console panel that is part of XCode. If you open XCode > Preferences, then select the Debugging Icon in the scrolling pane at the top. Near the bottom of that pane you'll find a drop down combo box menu "On Start: Do Nothing". Open the menu and select "Show Console." That way, when your app executes an NSLog method, it will open the console and show the output.
